The Why
We’re all fairly busy, twenty-four hours in a day can sometimes feel too short, so, why launch a blog as a personal initiative with zero commercial focus or intention, when there is still work to do and the lottery win has not yet materialized?
To say Thank You. To express my appreciation for the many gifts and blessings that have touched my life, and to perhaps make a positive difference in the lives of those who choose to read the pages of this blog.
There are priceless insights, hard-won lessons and flashes of brilliance all around us, some going back hundreds of years or more that for some reason, each generation has to re-learn. The quotes you will see in these pages, and the posts that will be the heart of this online conversation are meant to enrich, inspire and empower.
I will draw on lessons learnt at home from my Parents and Family, from my own life journey so far, and, from visionaries whose brilliance will illuminate these pages to help light a thousand candles with each Big Idea. If all goes well, we will all end up standing on the shoulders of giants (thank you Isaac Newton for that image), elevate our own perspective and in so doing, raise the quality of our contributions.
About the Author
I’d like your permission to tell you exactly nothing about me.
Here’s why: I am an individual with a certain type of life experience, a perspective and a worldview.
Knowing just a few things about me may lead you to some conclusions about the relevance (or not) of this blog. It may influence the way you read the posts or follow the discussions we will have with readers and those who post on these pages.
I meant it about asking your permission.
I’d like you to go through this blog without seeking to know about the author. That is a preference, but here is where you decide: if you really can’t resist (or if you just disagree with this whole approach), please click the link below to a brief biography:
WAIT!! STOP!! Are you sure you REALLY want to click…?
